Dear Valued Customer,

As you are aware, we have recently upgraded our Spam solution for the The Community Agency email platform. Going forward, you will no longer receive the Daily Digest’s you are used to seeing. As a result of the changes, you can now manage your spam directly in your email's Junk folder in webmailYou can login to your webmail to manage your Spam by browsing to (insert webmail link).

We’ve put together a new Spam guide page that will help you better understand how the new Spam filter will work.  Please browse to http://guides.myonlinehelp.net/docs/tcaexpress.net/spam_removal to review step-by-step instructions.

Most filtering of unsolicited automated email (also known as spam or junk mail) is handled by the spam filter before those email messages reach your Inbox. Any emails from a legitimate domain flagged as potentially junk mail are placed in your Junk folder. You can review these messages and either move them out of the Junk folder or delete them. If you do not move or delete the messages, they are purged after 30 days.

Important Tips to help you better manage your Spam:

  • Mark an Email as Spam – Once you are in webmail, if there is a message that you do not want to receive, mark it as “Spam” by clicking the Spam button at the top. This process is highlighted in the guide page provided above.

  • Learning Your Preferences  Even if a message is marked as Spam by you, there is a chance a similar message may come in the future. The Spam filter is working to learn your email preferences, as well as those of your peers to better filter mail.

  • Block Messages vs Allow Messages – If you are receiving messages from an address or domain that you no longer want to receive mail, you can go into Webmail Preferences to block an entire email address (sent@domain.ext) or domain (domain.ext)The same can be said for any email address or domain you want to ensure comes into your inbox by adding the email address/domain to the allow messages option in Preferences.

We appreciate your patience as the new Spam filter adjusts to your mailing habits and seeks to better serve you.

Sincerely,

The Community Agency Support team
