Setting Up Email Addresses in Thunderbird 24.5

This easy guide will help you add an account to Thunderbird v24.5.
 

Step 1. Select the three bars on the right side of Thunderbird. 

• Select Options, then Account Settings.

• Select New Message, then Existing Email Account. 

• Input the user's information (Email, password, and name).
  
  

 

Step 4. Update your INCOMING MAIL SERVER's information:

• • Incoming Mail Server Host Name- mail.mydirectlink.net
  • Username is your FULL email address

• • Outgoing Mail Server Host Name- smtp.mydirectlink.net
  • Username is your FULL email address
  • Make sure SSL is enabled
  • Server Port should be 465

When finished, click Done.
