Updating Email Server Settings/Passwords in your iOS15 or 16 Device

This easy guide will help you update your email server settings/password on your iOS device.
 

Step 1. Locate your email settings:

  • Open Settings (typically on your homescreen)

     

  • Tap Mail

            

 
  • Tap Accounts

            
 

 

Step 2. In the Accounts section, tap the email address to be updated

  • Tap My account

     
  • ​Select Account

     
Step 3. Verify your server settings/password here.
  • If you are updating your password, in the Password field enter your NEW email password
  • If you are verifying/updating your server settings- verify they are as follows
    • ​Host Name: mail.ntin.net
    • Username is your FULL email address
    • Password is your email password

       
  • ​Select Advanced

     
  • ​Verify SSL is enabled and the port is set to 993

     
  • Go back using the Account option

Step 4.  Verify the outgoing (SMTP) settings/password.
  • Select SMTP

     
  • Select the Primary Server

     
  • If you are updating your password, in the Password field enter your NEW email password
  • If you are verifying/updating your server settings- verify they are as follows
    • ​Host Name: smtp.ntin.net
    • Username is your FULL email address
    • Password is your email password
    • Enable SSL
    • Server Port: 587 or 465

  • Select DONE on the SMTP page

     
  • Go back using the Account option

     
  • Select DONE on the IMAP page
