Updating Email Server Settings/Passwords in Outlook 2007
This guide will help you update your Outlook 2007 email program to send and receive messages using your advanced account settings.
Step 1. Navigate to your Account Settings:

Open Outlook 2007

Click the Tools drop-down menu

Select Account Settings
Step 2. Identify your e-mail address using the Account Settings window:
- Locate your e-mail address in the center of the window
- Select Change...
- Verify/Edit your email server settings and/or email password
- Email Address: Full email address
- Account Type: IMAP
- Incoming mail server: mail.ntin.net
- Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.ntin.net
- User Name: Full email address
- Password: Email Password
- Select More Settings...
- Select the Outgoing Server Tab, then verify:
- Check the box that says, "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
- Select "Use same settings as my incoming mail server"
- If you were only updating your email password, Click here- otherwise continue scrolling to finish verifying server settings.
- Check the box that says, "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"
- Select the Advanced tab and verify:
- Incoming Server (IMAP): 993
- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
- Outgoing Server (SMTP): 465 or 587
- Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL
- Select OK
- Incoming Server (IMAP): 993
- Select Next
- Select Finish
